Suggest A Contraceptive Pill That Can Be Taken By A Nursing Mother

I had a 4 month old boy. I had unprotected sex with my wife last night. Although she is lactating and feeds baby well within short durations. Still I am concerned if she can get pregnant again. We want a distance between babies. Please let us know if there is any contraceptive that she can take as precaution. Please make a note that she is feeding the baby and medicine should not have side effect

As your child is on exclusive breast feed, it acts as a contraceptive method itself, but chance of being pregnant also persists. In this period your wife can take minipill. it is safe in lactation and have no effect on milk secretion. Condom is also safe for you in this period.
