Suffers PCOS, Endometriosis, Unable To Conceive As Partner Has Azospermia, Bleeding Heavily With Abdominal Pain. Solution ?
I have a friend who has both polycystic ovaries and endometriosis. She is 40 years old, and had a termination in her early 20's. She and her partner have been told that they cannot conceive because he has azospermia. Last night she had severe abdominal pain that brought her to all fours and analgesia had no impact. She was having what sound like uterine contractions on a regular basis. She bled heavily and then passed a clot that was the approximate size of a satsuma, that also had some brown colouring and mucus. She reduced to a very heavy flow about 15 minutes later, but has continued to have the abdominal pain. It has been approximately 17 hours since the onset. No pyrexia. Thank you
The possible causes are: -Menorrhagea - heavy flow during the periods, the tissue she passed could be endometrial tissue. -Intermenstrual bleeding due to hormonal imbalance -Miscarriage, rare. But sometimes even with PCOD she can conceive if the seminal count of the husband improves due to medicines etc. As she is having heavy flow, better to consult gynecologist to get evaluated for the cause and let her take treatment accordingly.
