Suffering With Achilles Tendinitis, Been In Pain. Will Power Plate Vibration Help?
Hi, I appear to be suffering with what I think is Achilles tendinitis. The creep slowly to the bathroom in the morning until my Achilles loosens has been going on for a number of years but has caused me no problems until this morning when I have been in considerable agony all day. I could hardly walk this morning but by mid afternoon am walking carefully with resonable movement. I did pull out of the badminton match I had tonight as anything more than a slow careful walk is painful.
The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be due to Achilles tendinitis. Vibration therapy will help in temporary relief of symptoms. But the underlying cause of the symptoms need to be determined.
Kindly consult an Orthopedician for proper clinical examination. Management involves: 1. Analgesics 2. Intralesional steroids 3. Modification in standing & walking posture 4. Physiotherapy exercise.
Take care.
