Suffering from weird headache.

I have been getting weird numbness around the top of my head which has moved down to behind my eye, and around my temple all located on the left side, my eye is also drooping slightly, is red and seems blurred and to look at seems slightly different size to my right pupil, top of my head and my left temple are tender to touch and it is really really annoying me, previously before this it was just a tingling sensation, has gotten worse and has come and gone over the past 2/3months, what could this be? Its also keeping me from sleeping as I get nervious and twitchy when lying in bed thinking about it, its ussually left painful after a few hours sleep but gradually comes back over the day. Thanks in advance.

I've been to my doctor, I wouldn't go about how to arrange an appointment for a neurologist i don't work because i've been made redundant am constantly stressed and my doctors keep saying am ok looking into my eyes am fine/eyes but still he gives me spray for my sinus's and now am on some drug called amitriptyline, for tension headaches.

Id prefer him to just get me booked in for tests and get it done with instead of all these different types of drugs to make me better, but I'l respect his opinion and go along with it inless it gets worse.

My Mother got Diagnosed with MS when she was about my age, now i've read it doesn't run in the family but keep forgetting to mention it when I go the doctors.

Hi, I am 21 years old and I have been getting this really uncomfortable crunching in the back of my head when I turn my head side to side, then there is usually some pain to follow. I also get a weird grind like feeling when I tilt my head to look up and it hurts after that aswell, (sometimes as it happends), then I feel a little dizzy and off balanced. I also get a fair amount of pressure in my head which is relativley painfull. I would also like to add that my mother has osteoarthritis, fibromyelga, and degeneritive discs. So i am wondering if any of those are hereditary because she has had some of the same symptoms.

I have been experiencing headaches for the past few weeks. They are not overly painful, but they brought up some concern for me. They are located all over my head, not centralized to one spot. I have pressure in my temples, behind my eyes, and the back of my head tends to be sore. The top of my head sometimes aches a little bit. I have been taking some sinus medicine and it has relieved it somewhat in the moment. I also feel very strange visually. My vision isn t blurry or anything, it s just kind of...off. I feel like I should be off balance, but I m walking perfectly fine. My head feels like it s spinning, but I can walk perfectly fine....I know that doesn t make a whole lot of sense. I had migraines when I was younger and still sometimes do, but these headaches are different. I am super super worried that I may have a brain tumor or something. I went in for a physical about 2 weeks ago, and the doctor told me my blood tests, urine tests, and chest xray came back just fine. I am in a constant state of fear, I cry a lot, and I fear that I am slowly dying or something. I used to be super super super happy and peppy, but now my mind is just focused on having that tumor and being super scared all the time. These headaches are very strange to me and I am extremely weirded out by the strange vision issues. Please, let me know if you can relate, if you have had these same symptoms and what came of it, because my doctor is going to tell me that I am just fine, I know it....

My father, age 78, is in excellent health and only takes medication for hypercholesterolemia (low 200 s). He recently started Erythromycin for head and chest congestion and sore throat. After taking this for a few days he had blood blisters erupt in his scalp and ears. His head felt a lot of pressure and he was worried he might be having a stroke. His neck and head were stiff with some numbness in his right arm. He DC d the antibiotic and went to his doctor, who placed him on Prednisone. Now he is a little groggy and isn t feeling well so he stopped the Prednisone. He sounds weak and we aren t sure why he was put on the Prednisone. My question is - why take Prednisone if the blisters are drying up? What is the benefit versus the risks?
