Suffering from type 2 diabetes. On Gemer fort medication, redness, irritation in eyes. Precautions?

I am 55 year old having type 2 diabetes my doctor prescribed Gemer Fort I and this medicine I am taking regularly from 6 years. Usually my sugar level is recorded under control but some time it is recorded at 180-185. From last one year I am feeling irritation in my eyes and after irritation it become red with white thick fluid and I could not tolerate constant irritation which compel me to stop seeing with my eye. Kindly suggest me either I have to change the medicine or what type of precautions I have to take in keeping my safe eyes. Right now I am on specks and my number is minus five.

thanks for choosing hcm
complications in diabetic patients are always expected
thing is,the day you werediagnosed to be diabetic, you need to take good diet, medication and exercise
along with FREQUENT BLOOD GLUCOSE MONITORING,Hba1c every 3 to 5 months
eye examination,scan ,ecg every year
have you been to an opthal doctor since you turned out to be diabetic?
if not this is the right time to see an eye doctor
if your glucose levels on an average is ok you may not need a change in medication

glaucoma of the eye may result in symptoms you have should see a doctor to clarify your problem
being diabetic you are prone to cataracts ,glaucoma, retinopathies etc
dont panic reading all the above complications.... i have mentioned them for you to make you know what you may have to go through if you neglect your eyes

precautions in case of eyes
1. good sleep pattern,go to bed and rise same time everyday
2.get your sight checked once in 6 months
3.change your spects if they seem old
4.wash your eyes with normal clean chemical free water
5.avoid finger and nail contact with eyes

all the best take proper care
