Suffering From Tension Type Headache, Prescribed Valprine, Rivotril. Having Numbness In Hands And Legs. Alternative ?

ear Dr. i have been suffering form Tension type Headache., and my Neurology Dr. has given me these tablets
Valprine chrome 300 Rivotril 0.5 / Betacap and mysopan SOS.,

now i have been developing numbness in both hands and legs with prickliness in my hands and legs.,

earlier too i had the same type of numbness coming but will go and again re=appear.,

please could u suggest what is the best medicine to be taken

Your tingling and numbenss might be due to

- Symptom of stress- anxiety,
- Physical causes like vitamin B12 or Vitamin D deficiency, or thyroid dysfunction
- As a side effect of sodium valproate.

You should consult psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and management. You may get benefit be anti depressant agents like escitalopram or sertraline etc.

You may also do relaxation therapy like breathing exercise or yoga for better control over stress.
