Suffering From Stomach Ulcers, Indigestion. Taking Folic Acid Tablets To Aid Digestion. Safe To Take?
am suffering from ulcer complaints thus i have problems with digestion . Once i had taken 5mg of folic acid tablets when i had small wounds in the fleshy part of the mouth. That days i was not facing any digestion problems. From then i used to take one 5 mg of folic acid tablets in the night which aids for the digestion. is good to take take in the night or day? How many tablets one can take in a day? What are the side effects? Help

I appreciate your concern if you have ulcer then folic acid is not the right treatment firs of all this is to be confirmed for the ulcer and if it turned ulcer then Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day for six week is advisable, stop taking the folic acid if you are getting some relief with this then this could be due to the placebo effect, and nothing else, hope this information helps you have nice day.
