You may be having recurrent sore throat ,even it is cured by antibiotics you may get infection again. during acute stage they may become enlarged and painful and swallowing liquid or solid may be difficult, You can do Hot saline gargles and may also take simple analgesic like Paracetamol.
You should consult a ENT Surgeon, and take proper antibiotics and decongestants and discuss any surgery of tonsils will be useful.
Improve your Immunity to fight against diseases so you do not get frequent infections.
OK Good luck to you
