Hair fall can be caused due to several factors. But first, it is important to know what is normal hair loss? This is the hair loss that everybody has and the number of hair falling everyday vary from ten to hundred. Many people mistake this as hair loss and go to the doctor. It is very important to realize that this is normal and does not need treatment. In addition, hair loss can be classified as localized loss and generalized loss - as temporary hair loss and permanent hair loss. Most causes for hair loss do not result in baldness, and the common condition that we see as baldness is refered to as common baldness. Causes such as systemic diseases, local skin diseases, emotional stress, endocrine problems, anemia, vitamin deficiency, drugs, cancer, rheumatic disease can cause hair loss but most of these are temporary and once the primary condition is treated, the hair returns.
Hi... My sister got a dengue fever in early July and she got a really bad one with the very high fever; very bad nausea and vomiiting; and she suffered from it for more than a week. About a week ago, she started to have a hair fall problem but it is becoming worse with large chunk falling everyday. And for your info, my sister has Retinitis Pigmentosa. What can she take or do to prevent this hair falling problem to worsen. Thank you so much.

hello,my husband and I are currently trying for a baby. I am now at day 21 of my cycle and have developed persistant burning/cramping low down in my pelvis. There is no discharge or vaginal pain, its all in the pelvis. I have been taking paracetamol but they have not taking the edge off and the pain is constant. I have been to see my GP this morning who performed an internal examination and could not find anything obviously wrong. I have also had a blood test this morning to see if I am ovulating/pregnant as I also have suspected endomitreocis which I am seeing a specialist about later this month. Can you shed any light on what this pain might be? If it turns out that I am pregnant, does this suggest that there is something wrong and that I am likely to misscarry?
I have recently been diagnosed with phlebitis in my left leg. I had my lymph nodes removed 5 yrs ago along with a lumpectomy for breast cancer. Have been prescribed Naprosyn but find paracetamol seems to be working. I am due to fly to Portugal - 2.5 hrs Is it safe ?
