I am not being able to sit with my legs folded and facing an obstructed feeling in the right sacroiliac when bending forward. I experience a stiffness from just above the pelvis, to the center or sometimes to the left of the back, 24x7. There is a constant bow-string effect on my spine, as if an unwanted force is exerting pressure on my spine and giving the stomach muscles an uneasy feeling.....please help me.......

Ayurveda Specialist Dr. Rajesh Lakhanpaul's  Response
Your complaints call for rest and no weight lifting at all. It can be due to intervertebral disc prolapse. Ayurveda offers cure with a procedure called Kati vasti in which medicated oils are kept over the affected area for about half an hour daily. Internal medicines like Punarnava guggul and triodasahng guggul offer good relief. Application of heat with heating pad or hot water bottle also offers good relief. Forceful massage of the area is contraindicated. Analgesic oils or ointments can be applied with soft hands. Locally you can apply pyroflex gel [ solumiks ]
