Suffering From Severe Hair Loss, Receding Hair Line. Using Tugain Solution, Finasteride. Correct Medication?

I am 19 years old male from xxxx and I am facing severe hair loss . My hair line is receding and hair density is decreasing at a fast rate. I ve started using Tugain 5% solution and a tablet named Finasteride(on a doctor s recommendation). Will this be effective? How much time will it take to stop hair loss? Will it help in hair regrowth, if yes, how long will it take for it?
