Hello friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic for your queries..

I would like to help your mother in treating Reactive arthritis with medicines with less small side effects but will have greater response to theraphy and will be relieved from pain and there will be cure for your mother .

I suggest you to consult physician before taking any drugs.
I recommend 1) Tablet indomethacin 50mg twice a day it can be increased to 100mg if pain doesnot subsides.
Do not worry as treatment dosage will be decreased bt physician as Reactive arthritis starts recovery.
2) Corticosteroids- Tablet Prednisolone 0.5-1mg/kg/day to fight against antigens and can reduce inflamation of joints.
3)Injection Methotrexate once weekly
4) Tablet sulfasalazine 500mg thrice daily (Sulfasalazine is best taken right after meals or with food to lessen stomach upset.

Each dose of sulfasalazine should also be taken with a full glass (8 ounces) of water. Several additional glasses of water should be taken every day, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Drinking extra water will help to prevent some unwanted effects of the sulfa medicine.)
5) Tablet Pantorazole 40mg once daily before food.
6) Digene gel 10 ml thrice a day
7) Azitromycin 500mg for 5 days.

Talk to your doctor and have regular follow up to decrease or increase dosage .
Wishing her a speedy recovery.
Hope this information will help you.
Take Care.
