Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello. Thank you for your question. I am sorry your daughter is not well. Based on your description, it seems your daughter's condition is improving. At this age, the children don't know how to spit out the mucous and that often prolongs the illness a few days. However, they do get better. I recommend a follow up visit with your doctor at some point in the next 2-3 days to make sure her lungs are improving. Otherwise, there is no reason to be overly concerned.
