Suffering From Nose Bleeds, Occurs On Blowing Nose. Cauterization Done. Treatment Options?

I am having frequent nose bleeds . I had a cauterization done recently which I thought would helpl but last week my nose started bleeding in the morning for a few minutes and I ve had the same problem the last 3 mornings. Seems when I wake up and blow my nose it starts. I do use a nasal gel but I m wondering if the cause could be something else. Thanks,

hi there
am dr.surendiran
nice to meet you here in HCMagic
the following are important predisposing factor for nose bleed
1Infection
2 Trauma, including self-induced by nose picking, especially in children
3 Allergic and non-allergic rhinitis
4 Hypertension (high blood pressure)
5Use of blood thinning medications
6 Alcohol abuse
7Less common causes include tumors and inherited bleeding problems
8Hormonal changes during pregnancy may increase the risk of nosebleeds.

while bleeding,just follow this steps

1Pinch all the soft parts of the nose together between the thumb and index finger.
2Press firmly toward the face - compressing the pinched parts of the nose against the bones of the face.
3 Lean forward slightly with the head tilted forward. Leaning back or tilting the head back allows the blood to run back into the sinuses and throat and can cause gagging or inhaling the blood.
4Hold the nose for at least five minutes. Repeat as necessary until the nose has stopped bleeding.
5Sit quietly, keeping the head higher than the level of the heart. Do not lay flat or put your head between your legs.
6Apply ice (wrapped in a towel) to nose and cheeks.
for further management consult your physician for diagnosis
hope helped your query
