Suffering From Loose Stools And Bacterial Infection In Stomach With Abdominal Pain. Will Metrogyl 400 Help?

Hi, this is Souvik from Corvallis, OR. I have been suffering from loose stools and probably bacterial infection in my stomach since today morning. I am also experiencing little abdominal pain while leaving loose stools. I am taking salt-sugar mixed water and puffed rice only. I had one norflox but still experiencing little abdominal pain. Should I take metrogyl 400? Which is should be good for the above mentioned problems? Please also suggest me some foods which I can take in this condition? Thanks!

Hello.Recommended foods for your condition are rice, chicken, apple, banana, carrot, toast, white fish, jamon york.Also you should avoid especially fats and sugars.About the use of metronidazole,your doctor must assess if your diarrhea is caused by viruses or bacteria.If your doctor thinks that your diarrhea is bacterial, the prescription of metronidazole is appropriate.Go to your Doctor to examination, confirm diagnosis and for prescription.I wish you good health.
