Are you able to exercise before bedtime? Perhaps eating nutritionally and lightly in the evening may help. Listening to meditation, practicing breathing exercises can help too. Can you purchase a white noise machine that you can play at night? that can offer relief from hyperarousal. Using something like Brain Sync repetitively for several weeks can help also. Do you have any history of PTSD? perhaps the hyperarousal is a symptom of that. Good luck.
