Suffering From Cough, Green Thick Phlegm. Taking Medication Condition Improved And Back. Recommendations?

I have had a productive irritating cough. green thick phlegm. for two weeks I saw practise nurse who gave me amoxicillin 500mgs tds for 5 days finishing on Monday I thought was getting better but now 2 days later the cough is back as is the green phlegm. Should I go see my doctor or wait a few more days. I don't smoke and don't usually cough

Hello.Ideal treatment had been amoxicillin 500 mg every 8 hours 8 days
Go to your doctor because you have taken a few days antibiotic
For the rest quiet with a few more days of antibiotic your illness will resolve
As you say there are no signs of suspicion or alarm
Coughing is normal and not smoking is positive.I wish good health
