Suffering From Constipation

I have not been able to pass stools fully (completely), some left out feeling will be there and my tummy looks a bit bigger than it looks when I pass stools fully. I would like to take 1 tab for clearing out the toxins left. Can you please suggest a good safe laxative? Thanks.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
It is better to avoid laxatives. I usually give mild laxatives like Lactulose or cremaffin syrup at bed time.I also advise them to use fibre containing diet.Take more water.Do not wait longer when you feel to have a bowel movement. If not helping by this then i give bisacodyl tablets or suppositories.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.

With any laxative you may develop habbit formation. Size of abdomen and complete passing of stool are not related. This may be pschycological. Change your diet habbit. Take fiber rich food. Fluid intake should be more. Take lots of vegetable.Avoid nonveg. Increase your physical activity. You can take husk of isobgul in water or milk at bed time for three times a week for few month. It is a bulk purgative and not habbit forming.
