Hi Kiran,

Thanks for writing in to Healthcare Magic!

The epilepsy is one of the most complex and difficult disease to treat or cure albeit it can be controlled with medicines. It can be controlled with very simple treatment like a tablet once or twice daily.

Please do not be adamant on getting the PERMANENT thing in mind, actually nothing is permanent in this daisy world. We have so many issues without permanent solution- we eat every day get hungry again, did you seek a solution.

You are bothered why you only need to take a pill daily while not others! Okay there are people who would argue Why they should take 17 type of tablets in a day while you are taking only one.

You should understand, there are individual problems and tailor made solutions, if you do not want twice a day then you can take a sustained preparation called Epsolin-ER 300 at bed time only.

Nothing much can be done till next two years.

You must know the harm of not taking medicine, with each seizure episode millions of neurons die in your brain and never get repaired. So you can guess how much harm you are getting by just a wrong type of attitude.

If you have any further query please let me know I would try to answer it for you.

Wish you a great health!
