Suffering From Chronic Constipation. Taking Neopride, No Relief. X-ray Of Colon Scheduled. Cure?
Iam 27 years old I am having the problem of constipation from more than 8 months.I used to take laxatives daily at night.I have met to a gastroenterolgist ,he wrote 3 tests 1 was x-ray of colonic test others were blood test ,all the reports were normal. he said to take 1 medicine that was neopride sr.I am taking it from 15 days but there is no relief.I am quite tensed that whether it will be cured or not?sir please help me

Hello, as stated above you are suffering from chronic constipation from 8 months.Your blood tests and x ray of colonic tests were normal.You were prescribed neopride,which is generally given for functional intestinal problems like IBS(irritable bowel syndrome)
But be precise what blood tests were done and was it a normal x ray or barium meal.You are on neopride for 15 days still no relief then i suggest you to undergo ultrasound abdomen and any further clarification consult your doctor .take care........
