Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
I am a qualified and certified cardiologist. I read your question with diligence.
This could mean they detected an abnormality in conduction of electrical impulse which makes your heart beat. The abnormality may be something you were born with. It is not possible for me to say what precisely it is. They would have given some name to it. Certainly, the hospital wants you to undergo a test like echocardiography to establish that structurally your heart is normal. When you are 17 and present with chest pain, first thing which comes to doctor's mind that in all probability he/she is not dealing with coronary artery disease. It is either a normal heart or some disease you were born with. Let the cardiologist examine you thoroughly and investigate you. On the face of it, it does not look that bad otherwise they would not have you sent you home. Good Luck.
Best Wishes

General & Family Physician Dr. Ilanchey's  Response
if you have rapid heart rate(pulse) associated with giddiness consult your cardiologist otherwise 4m duration of chest pain is noncardiac and it may be due to ulcer in stomach if u are irregular in diet pattern. take some antacids
