Suffering From Chicken Pox. Having Coconut Water, Juices, Soups Etc. Should We Not Have Coconut Water Once Scab Is Formed? Best Way To Treat Scabs?

Hi, My husband has got chicken pox and I am giving atleast 3 glasses of cocunut water, orange juice, soups, etc., etc., I heard from my in-laws that once chicken pox dries up and forms a scab, then I should not give coconut water. Is that true? What is the best way to treat scabs? Is there any restriction in diet once scab is formed. Thanks, Santhi

hi,
There is no restriction in diet except it should be balanced healthy diet with adequate fluid intake.
LEAVE THE SCABS FALL ON ITS OWN .Apply some soothing agent if itching. calamine lotions may be used.
hope your husband has recovered well.
