Suffering From Acne, PCOS. Treatment To Reduce Acne Marks?

hi,
i have been suffering from acne for 5 years now. about 6 months ago i was diagnosed with PCOS and was told that the acne would also come down with the treatment for PCOS. Now MY PCOS has been cured but the acne is still a problem. Though the breakouts have reduced, i still notice the scars that are not fading what ever i do. I have tried scar removal gels and other home remedies .

I want to know if there is anything available in india that is able to reduce the acne scar.

Hello,
Welcome to health care magic.
Acne scars are of different types.
If you are just having flat reddish or brownish discolouration, you could benefit from sunscreen, lightening creams containing Kojic acid and chemical peels.
If you are having depressed scars which look like craters, creams will not help. You need procedures like subcision, dermabrasion, dermaroller or fraxel laser.
It would be good if you upload the pictures and send them to me, I will be ble to assess the scars and give you a proper management protocol.
There are lots of options inIndia! Treat scars early to get good results.
