Suffering From TB In Intestine And Lung, No Abdominal Pain. On Combutol And Benadon. Done Sputum Tests. Will I Get Better?
Hi Doctor,
I am suffering from TB in intestine and right lung. I am going through drug course for last 8 months. in first two months I had R-Cinex 600mg (once in a day), Pyzina 750 Mg (twice a day), Combutol 600mg (twice a day), Benadon 40mg (an half for a day) and Cobadex 1000mg (once in a day). After two months I am taking only R-cinex, Benadon and Cobadex. First two months shows good result an increase in weight. In the end of third month weight got reduced. After 8 months there is increase in weight of 2 kg. There is no pain in abdomen. But as per my xray report " Inhomogenous opacities seen in right upper zone with breakdown". Same statement was written in x-ray which was taken 7 month back. Sputum tests were negative. Xray reports making me sad as these still shows infection. Could you please help me on this I will be very thankful for this.

As per your description you have disseminated TB.however your treatment appears to be suboptimal.you need to visit a pulmonologist for evaluation and further treatment.
