Suffering from PCOS, tendency to put on weight. How to reduce it sooner?

hi doctor , i have PCOS , but i have conceived 5 yrs back normally , howveer if i stop my exercises i tend to put on weight....and recently for last 3 month i am having tremendous pain in my lower portions before my periods . i am on diet and i walk 3kms everyday , i dont want to put on weight can you please can i reduce weight sooner

Yes you can sure loose weight that too as much as 5 kg/month with a right combination of exercise & diet modifications. In your exercise regimen you need to add resistance training & flexibility exercise in combination to walking (cardio training). My advice is 20 minutes of push ups, sit up+ 20 minutes of brisk walking/jogging + 10 minutes of Yoga as flexibility exercise should suffice you. Additionally do some diet modification in form of adding high fibre diet like green vegetables, fruits & cutting down on high fat diet. Lastly you can consult your doctor about taking a drug Metformin which is helpful for reducing weight as well as for your PCOS. Good luck
