Suffering from IBS, acid reflux, nausea, severe abdominal pain, evacuation runny and smelly. Treatment?

Hi there! I m terribly sorry to bother you, but I m unable to get an appointment with my doctor and need some reassurance. I suffer from IBS , but in the past week I have had two very nasty attack late at night after going to bed. The attacks start out as an acid reflux and nausea combo, something I suffer from a lot, and over the course of a half hour to an hour suddenly develop into a severe abdominal pain and an immediate need to evacuate my bowels. Both times, I have been in such pain that I have to really fight not to pass out on the toilet, and the first time I was sick from the pain. The evacuation is runny, smells terrible and despite it not being too much, the body is trying to evacuate more, which isn t there, leading to the feeling of trying to pass a large object that will not some out. Once the pain and evacuation has subsided enough for me to take a buscapan in hopes it will help, I am left feeling sick and unable to lie down to sleep. I have never experience pain like this before, and I m worried it may be something more sinister, and I am so scared of it happening again that I am dreading going to bed tonight incase it does come back. Can you offer any insight or advice into this? My IBS is mostly anxiety triggered, which I take medication for and have done for years, but I find if I do not eat little and often, I was experience nausea radiating from the chest and throat . The two times this has happened, I have both not eaten before bed, and specifically eaten before bed to stop the nausea.

I took my boyfriend to the ER the night before last for uncontrolled abdominal pain with no relief of using pepto bismol, tums and Tylenol. He is also nauseated, headaches come and go and has really bad acid reflux. The doctor diagnosed with dyspepsia, She gave him reglan, protonix and a GI cocktail. The doctor did say that his WBC was elevated It has been two days and he continues to have discomfort/pain , acid reflux, nausea and abdominal pain. He has had no vomiting and diarrhea ... His follow up appointment with PCP isn t for a few more days. He isn t eating but one small bowl of broth a day and is drinking sprite and water throughout.

I have been feeling stomach pain for the past 8 days. It started with acid reflux where I would be burping up acidic burning gas. Occasionally I will get a sharp churn in my lower abdomen. I also feel bloated, full and I feel as if gas is being trapped. I am historically known for eating spicy foods, drinking a coffee every morning etc. however never experienced anything like this before. The symptoms were very abrupt and have lasted over a week so my concern is growing. Any advice would be much appreciated. -Tim

about 2 weeks ago, I fell down, lost concoiusness (so I m told) for 30 or so seconds. Was taken to ER and 3 stitches later came home. Have never been one to have headaches , but have been getting them quite frequently as of late. Last evening I started getting massive cold sweats, nausea , dizziness , and quite irritable. This morning I threw up about 1/2 cup or so. of some really thick, very gross stuff. I also have noticed today shortness of breath and that the pain I m in chest I m also feeling in my back........Now the twist is, I get a lot of intergestion . I have severe GERD . The 5 swallows of muscles in throat don t work......on the scale of 0 to 100 %......My 1st is at 30% the other 4 alll work at 0%, great........I take 2 Nexiums and a ratadine at night. Plus the head of my bed is raised 6 inches. I also chew Rolaids somtimes for quick relief. Acidity in stomach and throat was either 57 or 67% both in a laying positions during the night and standing during day.

I woke up this morning with a black coating on my tongue . I had diarrhea the night before and took pepto bismol to help relieve the diarrhea. I have acid reflux and at one time I had ulcers on the back of my tongue which caused a small amount of brown when scraping my tongue, but nothing like this dark coating that covers my entire tongue that I am scraping dark substance from the back of my tongue.
