Suffered Chest Flu. Dizziness And Hissing In Ears. Any Idea What Is Happening?

Hello. I had a bout with the chest flu , but got over it in two weeks without any medications except advil and tylenol . During the flu bout, I experienced some dizziness and hissing in my ears. All symptoms are gone now at the three week mark, but I still have hissing in my ears. They don t feel infected or otherwise plugged. Do you have any ideas?

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Hissing in ear is called tinnitus.
It is a sure symptom of ear disease - even without pain, discharge or hearing defect.
You should see an ENT (Ear Nose Throat) surgeon / you may need investigations like audio-gram or tympanometry.

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
