Suffer From Throat Irritation, Pus In The Tonsils And Redness Near Epiglottis. Treatment?
hye,from past one year ,i m suffering irritation in my throat ,i showed to the doctor ,,he told me that you have pus in yor tonsils,,white coloured boils were seen earlier,,den i took medicines,,but reddish ness near epiglottis occur after every 15-20 days.right now also having boils near my epiglottis ,,n i feel pain in my ears also.

You may be suffering from chronic (longstanding ) tonsilitis.
It is a very common condition and children and adolescents tend to suffer from it more often.
Usually it settles on lts own.
keep doing warm salt water gargling 5 times a day for an year or two.
Have lots of fluids - adults should have 3-4 litres per day.
Avoid cold foods from the fridge
Avoid airconditioning and fan
Have atleast one lemon per day and 8 almonds too.
Area around the epiglottis is normally pinkish.
The boils that you have seen around the epiglottis are lingual tonsils and taste buds and are normally present in all individuals.
Pain in the ears can be present in a variety of conditions.
Kindly consult an ENT specialist for the pain.
