Suffer From Pain Below The Breast, Heart Burn. Taking Hyospasmol. Chances Of Ulcer?

Hi, I have been suffering from severe pains in the area just below my breasts,(top of stomach area) and also heartburn, it has been going on for approx. 7days, I have now started taking Hyospasmol, 20mg 4 x daily, today is my second day and the pains seem to be fading, My question is should i be worried that it could be a ulcer?

I read your query and it seems that you are likely to suffer from Peptic ulcer disease. I would suggest you to take plenty of fluids and regular food during tablet intake.
I would recommend following medication for prevention of peptic ulcer.

1) Tablet Pantoprazole 40mg once daily half hour before food.
2) Syrup Digene 5ml thrice daily after food . It helps in reducing acidity in stomach and helps in reducing acid reflux.

Avoid Spicy and fatty foods for a month to cure peptic ulcer disease.
