I think this condition is functional dyspepsia which is long lasting. Is your bowel movements fine?
Risk factors include 1) taking too much caffeine or alcohol
3) unhealthy food habits
4) stress & strain etc
Test for Bacterium H.Pylori that can cause stomach problems may help to rule out the case.
Treatment should include life style changes and medications.
Medications include a counter gas remedy, an antacid etc
If you are interested in alternative medicine, that may be helpful. Practicing meditation and yoga may help to reduce your stress levels.Banana, tender coconut water, water melon sooth the burning sensation. Also have a glass of buttermilk daily reduces the burning sensation and pain, and then promotes digestion. Try this.
