Suffer From Depression. Prefers To Stay Alone. Not Ready For Treatment. What To Do?

my wife is in severe depression.she has no faith in me,she neither go out of home nor want any one to come.she remains alone & inactive.if she is normal/happy for a moment it does not last long.even if i try to make her happy she take it otherwise as if there is some conspiracy behind it.neither she is ready to go for treatment nor she try to get out of it by self cure action like morning walk,yoga meditation etc.due to her i am also loosing confidence & getting hopeless.she is not ready to hear me if i try to say some motivational things for counselling purpose.although she has no discrepancy in any way.she is 45yrs old,blessed with two sons & a daughter.both sons employed as engineer,daughter seeking mba,myself in govt. job.all are healthy and free from any ill habit.please suggest me remeady so that we can enjoy happy life.

Your wife of 45 years old, is in severe depression, no faith upon you, she remains alone, and inactive, intermitently, search for conspiracy in everything. she dont want to go for treatment. You are also loosing confidence and getting hopeless.
I appreciate your patience for living with her so long and bringing up children, in a prosperous way. So long you could drag, now you should not loose patience.
She must be having the psychological problem , and definitely needs to get treatment. If she dont want to take tablets, she can have long acting injections once in fifteen days or a month.
Keep the entertainment things like tv,music system, etc in her room.
Try to convince her to visit a psychatrist, telling that he is not a doctor for mental debility and he is for welbeing of the patients.
Wishing her a quick and complete recovery.
