Hi, last week my skin was clear and suddenly I developed spots around the corner of my jawline and neck . I m 34 and have never had acne as bad as this. A pimple or two but this was severe. My eating and exercise habits haven t changed but I haven t been sleeping much, feel tired during the day and I ve lost a bit of weight in the last week and a half.

Hi,
Thanks for writing.
Presence of acne in middle age group is known as adult onset acne. It is mainly due to hormonal imbalance or due to use of greasy cosmetics, oils or face massages.
Use a salicylic acid face wash and apply adapalene clindamycin combination in night. If the lesions start subsiding in a week or two then continue with same other wise meet a dermatologist. In your case blood test to rule out hormonal disorder and ultrasound uterus and adenexa might be required.
Hope this helped.
Take care
