Sudden Loss Of Hearing. MRI Showed 4 Mm Vestibular Schwannoma In Right Ear. Chances Of Recovery?

Hi

Im 72 years in very good health. After initial analysis by an ENT Specialist an MRI discovered a 4mm vestibular schwannoma in my right ear. Sudden Loss of Hearing first occurred March 2013. I am presently awaiting an appointment with another specialist. What is your opinion on how I should proceed and what are my (choices?)and chances of recovery.

Hi, it usually grow very very slowly, and you are already 72 years old, it appears to be very slowly growing, so if you use hearing aid for for hearing and observe the grouth every year it will be sufficient, after examination by your doctor. Surgery is rarely performed in advanced cases. Thank you.
