Sudden Full Body Shaking,legs Shaking

My husband last night had a sudden onset of uncontrolable full body shaking. He wasn t cold , no fever , normal vision , heart felt fine, his hand and arms were all over the place and legs bouncing up and down. Lasted about 5 min. then had a short quiet spell. Started up again not as long or as severe then quiet for maybe 30 min and had another lesser episode than the 2nd time. He was alert during them, normal speech and said he didn t feel fatiqued afterwards as well. Any thoughts? Kind of unsettling. Thank you, Dorothy

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to H.C.M.Forum. the condition appears to be convulsions, most probably parietal sesures, or rheumatic sesures. i advise you to consult a neurologist for diagnosis. he may have to get the EEG, CTscan, and other blood tests necesory to confirm the diagnosis. underlying cause might be hypertension , rheumatism etc. i advise you to avoid tobacco& alcohol in access. and some drugs like antihistamines, fluroquinolone antibiotics, & central nervous system stimulants like caffine, tramadol etc.
dont worry he willbe fine soon. restrictions are for ever.
