Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
hi there, from your history it is suggestive that you are suffering from duodenal ulcer pains and you need to sddress the same. To rule out any other pathology you should get a thorough health check up done with all the blood parameters and lipid profile with a stress test and ECG included. In the meanwhile you could apply these simple measures and see if you have any symptomatic relief. Consume small frequent low fat and spice diet. Have your supper atleast 1 hr before bedtime and try to take a stroll after your meal in the evening. If you are over weight try to reduce weight with some cardio exercise after you get aclean chit of health, quit smoking and can also try over the counter antacids for a few days. Do take care.

Psychiatrist Dr. Srikanth Reddy's  Response
Hello,
There is a lot of vital information which is missing in your account of the problem that you have stated. Firstly reasons of chest pain vary with age. There could be many reasons for your chest pain, gastritis and acid reflux being the most common. These problems can be easily controlled with the use of ant acids, PPIs and following a strict diet with no spice or oily food for a few weeks. Exercise will also help. The other reason for such a complain could be esophageal spasm which also causes similar pain at night. If you are an old aged person, then other cardio vascular causes of chest pain can also be present.
Hope I am able to solve your concerns.
Have a nice day!
