Stopped microgynon, negative home pregnancy test, migraines, tender breasts. Period about to start?

Hi, in November of last year, I came off my birth control pill Microgynon. It is now May and I haven t had a period. I ve taken home pregnancy tests and all have come back negative. I always use a condom and we check if it has split after sex - everything is always fine. Some months around the time I am due a period, I get PMS but not always. This week however, I have had pretty much all of the regular PMS symptoms: migraines, tender breasts, cramping on my right side, irritated, mood swings etc. Could my period finally be on it s way?

Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms that you have could be due to hormonal changes in your body or due to an impending period. Wait for a week to find out.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
