Stopped Having Periods After Child Birth. Spotting. Is It Normal?

Hi I got on the implonon after I had my son 7 months ago and I had 3 periods before it stopped all together. I haven t had a period for 4 months and all of a subben Wednesday of last week I got spotting and today it s heavier then usual and it s started to look like I m going to have my period for more then 8 days. Is this normal?

Mild irregular spotting, prolonged duration of periods or amenorrhea is commonly seen with the implants. It takes few months for the cycles to become regular. You need not worry. This is a normal finding and needs no treatment.
