Stop Of Growth At 12, No Muscle Mass, Weight Gain, No Change In Voice. History Of High Cholesterol As Child, Being Fed Only Soy Fomula For 2 Years. Estrogenic Effect?

21 year old son stopped growing at 12. 5'5". No muscle mass, gains weight easily, difficulty losing it, voice never changed, history of high cholesterol as a child. Fed soy formula exclusively as baby for two years. Is there permanent estrogenic effect that has caused him basically to never have matured? Has facial + pubic hair and has matured as a male otherwise.

Hi, it appears to be due to the hypothyroid condition. or may be some other harmonal problem. I advise you to consult an endocrinologist for diagnosis and treatment. You have mentioned gave soya milk, in the child hood if it is due to lactose intolarance avoid giving milk and milk products now also.
I advise you to give green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and proteine rich foods. Thank you.
