Stomach Virus, Nauseous, Dizzy, Hands And Feet Getting Cold, Throat Gland Swollen. Is It From Virus?

I recently had a stomach virus that my uncle and his girlfriend and both my grandparents had. I got off of it two days ago and I didn't eat anything during the day I was throwing up. That night when I had finally stopped, my lower back on both sides hurt and both sides of my legs. I felt dizzy when I walked. I'm able to eat and drink, and I drank some when I was sick, but I still feel nauseous. Now my hands and my feet are getting cold and crampy and my gland in my throat under my chin are swollen and it hurts to drink, but not as bad as it did in the morning. Whenever I stand up the back and side of my head hurt and the back of my neck for about 10 seconds. Do you think this is just from the virus or is this something else?

Hello,

Thanks for posting on HCM,

The viral infection could still be responsible. Viremia can present as such if the infection spreads from the stomach to your blood stream you can present with those symptoms. If the infection becomes serious you will need to go the hospital for further investigations.
Post viral infection is a likely possibility. You must have had the virus which gave way to another infection order than a virus. It could be bacterial or parasitic.
I do feel that you should see a doctor so he can have a look at you as you might be assuming that you are having a stomach virus when it is another type of infection.

Hope this helps
