Stomach Pain, Nausea, O2H Tablets, Rinifal, Diarrhoea Prevention ?

My son 12 years old is suffering with stomach pain and had vomitting 4 - 5 times on Monday night. And also went to toilet 2 - 3 times in the same night. A local clinician prescribed O2H tab twice a day; rinifal thrice a day (both after meals) and Emeset thrice a day (before meal) diagnosing the case as stomach infection . Today is the third day. Second day morning after the start of medicines he had temperature and it is subsided after giving Crocin . Today morning again he had omission. Now he does t have any temperature. But, omission is continued. What could be the reason?

Hello,

He possibly has gastroenteritis, most of these resolve in 24-48 hours and only needs proper fluid replacement to avoid dehydration.
Take 250ml fluid with each episode of loose motion and vomiting.

If symptoms have increased and not able to take orally then you need take him to the doctor as he may need intravenous infusions for sometime till his vomiting goes away and able to take orally.

Good luck.
