Stomach pain, grinding feeling. Should i be concerned?

I am having an almost grinding type of feeling that filters what feels like all through my stomach , right underneath my right pectoral, and in most spots of the stomach from the chest down. My bowel movements have rarely been brown, for a period they were dark, potentially tarry stools , that passed, but very few have been solid and brown, the most recent mixed with green and brown. Slight stomach pains that aren t extreme pain, but this is all consistent leading me to believe it may be something.

General Surgeon 's  Response

Thank you for the query.

Your symptoms seems to indicate peptic ulcers which do bleed from time to time (causing black stools). If your pain appears after a meal, nausea or vomiting appears, ulcers are possible. You should also have ruled out gallstones and pancreas disease. Especially if the pain radiates to the back.
I suggest you to visit your doctor, have physical examination, blood tests, liver tests, amylase, and upper GI endoscopy performed.

Hope this will help.
