Stomach Pain, Cramps, Irregular Bowel Movement, Bloated. Cure For Symptoms?

My stomach is in so much pain, cramping from my belly button down to my groin. My muscles cramp in my stomach when I pee but I think its a pressure thing not a UTI since it doesn't sting or hurt to pee in the bladder area. It hurts to move around and sometimes the pain goes right through to my lower back. I haven't been able to have a normal bowel movement in about a week or so. Just a small amount here and there. Do I need to see a doctor? I feel so bloated and its very painful.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
If I were your doctor for this acute severe stomach pain with bloating I would come up with these following causes.
1 The first possibility is of acute gastritis or hyperacidity . Diagnosis can be confirmed by upper G I endoscopy .
Try raising the head of your bed about 4 inches with blocks. It also might help to avoid eating or drinking for 2 hours before you lie down.To help control the stomach acid one should not drink alcohol or drinks with caffeine in them or eat chocolates or spicy food or greasy food . Some antacid helps in your case, but if symptoms severe , you may need proton pump inhibitors .
2 The next reason may renal stone , diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of both kidney .As sometimes pain is radiating to the back , this is an indication of stone in kidney.
3 However there is chronic constipation , this may develops pain like this but in mild form so for this get in ENEMA ( soap water or glycerin) .
In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion & TREATMENT .
Good luck. Dr. HET
