Stomach Bloating, Lower Back Pain, Diarrhea, Headache. Have Lactose Intolerance. Gluten Problem?

Hello, I have been suffering with severe bloating of the stomach for over a month. It started the day after i fell on the ice, fell on my tailbone, hit my neck and head on front tire.. doctors dont seem to think its connected..I had stool test done, no blood. i have an impacted left bowel and some inflamation in the colon . They put me on cipro.. I also had a vaginal infection and they put me on flagyl . I am now done with meds, still have a bloated stomach, like i m pregnant, pain in lower back and now severe diarehha. Bad headaches and just not feeling well. I have no fever. I am lactose intolerant and with doing some research do you think it could be a gluten problem? Just had an ultra sound done on my abdomen and pelvis yesterday.. waiting for results. Do you have any suggestions or test they should be doing?? Please help, I am 46 years old and i am so frustrated.. 37 day of bloating and i need some relief. Thanks, Jodi

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would suggest you that you should take Lactobacillus preparation along with digestive enzymes containing pepsin and fungal diastase.

You should also take an antacid like Omeprazole 40 mg along with Domperidone 10 mg once a day before breakfast.

You can get yourself investigated for H.pylori.

Following precautions will be helpful :-
1. Avoid spicy/oily foods.
2. Do not overeat.
3. Never miss a meal.
4. Avoid emotional/mental stress.
5. Avoid smoking/alcohol, if any.
6. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily.
7. Avoid gas producing foods like peas, cabbage, lentils, etc.
8. Do not talk while eating.
9. Avoid eating fast.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
