Stitches Opened On Penis After Mole Removal. Should They Be Put Back In?

My husband had a mole removed from his penis 2 weeks ago.... It appeared to be healed, however we had intercourse last night for the first time and the site opened. It is the size of a small pea...because of the continues movement it does not remain closed, or open long enough for the air to dry the area out. Do you think I need to insist he go in and perhaps have the stiches put back in? He is not happy at all about the thought of that. The mole was removed while he was under during another type of operation so he had no fear regarding the removal.

This comes at no surprise... not an honest heart felt answer with out a price to pay... never mind I can find out what I need to know with out give out any more personal info on line to the likes like you...:(

Hello, as stitched wound heals with in 7-10 days time and your husband has been removed mole 2 weeks ago, and as you described there is little bit abrasion or peeling of the operated wound after the intercourse, so both of you don't worry about that this wound will heal normally, but little care you must take wash the wound by diluted antiseptic lotion or apply any antiseptic cream after washing and doing intercourse.it might not be painful ulcer,so ask your husband not to worry and there is no need to restitch the wound. Hope your query will solved, good luck and take care.
