Stitches On Knee, No Pus, Fluid, Fever, Swelling And Redness On Surrounding Area. Rash Or Infection?

i recently had stitches on my knee . the would seems to be healing nicely. no puss or fluid leakage and no fever or chills. however, a large area surrounding the wound has become red, itchy and warm to the touch and slighty swollen. i have been using triple antibiotic cream and covering it with a non-stick pad and gauze . i am wondering if this is just a rash or if it is a sign of infection.

It is a clear Infection of the wound.Pl take antibiotics orally or in Inject-able form along with anti inflammatory drugs.for one week Since it is a knee joint you have to be careful and see that it does not get infected at any cost. You should do a proper dressing everyday.
