Steroid Induced Rosacea, Pimples, Redness. Minocycline, Tetralysal, Rosex Taken. Advise?

I am a 29 yr old female weighing 56 Kg. I have steroid induced rosacea. How long before I see results on Tetralysal 300mg for rosacea. it seemed to be working for the first 2 weeks but now I have pimples and redness on one cheek after being on it for 4 weeks. should i continue or change the antibitoic. I first used mincyclin 100mg for 2 months before my Derm changed to tetralysal. I also have been using Rosex twice a day for 3 months. Also do you have any advice on using teatree oil instead of the Rosex. There is a new proiduct in the US called Cliradex whixh is for ocular rosacea but can be used in a twelette from on the whole face. Do you know of this product?Does steroid induced rosacea clear up eventually or am I now stuck with rosacea for life. Thank you.

Hi
Steroid induced rosacea may take a few weeks to resolve. Keep patience and trust your dermat.
Self experimentation will do more harm than good as you might not be aware of the dosage and duration of treatment or whether that medication is appropriate for you or not.
Along with the treatment provided by ur doc u may add a sunscreen to the regimen.
Try avoid excessive sun exposure, consumption of alcohol or spicy food.
You may continue with rosex rather than cliradex.
Hope it helps.
Regards
Dr amit
