Started Miscarriage, Hcg Levels Down, Egg White Ovulation Type Discharge. What To Do?
Started miscarriage on sept 26 hcg levels were 700 came down to 300 and now they re 47 but I have stopped bleeding I have some egg white ovulation type discharge. Doctor said it can t be ovulation because I still have hcg in my blood. Thicken uterine wall 1.2cm ? How will this go down now? Went through complete natural miscarriage but following up with my doc continuously. Will the thickened uterine wall be fine after my period? I am scared :(
Hi, Thanks for the query. After undergoing miscarriage, beta hcg levels will take some time to come to zero level. This will differ in person to person. Decidualization of the endometrium occurs during pregnancy. It may take some time for complete regression of the thickness. Usually after few weeks the endometrial thickness will come to normal. As at present you are not having any bleeding or retained products in the uterus, no need to worry. Possibly your endometrium will come to normal thickness soon. May be because of this your next period may get little bit delayed. If the spotting or bleeding starts again once go for review scan or next periods get delayed for more than 5 weeks, go for review scan once. Take care.
