Started Chantix After Flu Shot, Swelling In Face, Neck With Water Retention, Tingling Lips. Side Effect ?
I took A flu shot and started Chantix on September 26th ( I took 1/2 of the recommended dosage for 10 days and quit taking Chantix completely on 10th day) and have been having swelling in my face, neck and water retention every since.............my eyes necks, head lips feels like they are filling up with water. I am dizzy and at times un able to walk I have been to Dr and have taken 5 days of Prednizone (20mg) and am currently finishing ciprofloxacin 500 MG of which I have 7 left. My lips are tingling now and I have a hint of a headache in the back of my head

As You describe it appears to be the allergic reaction to the vaccine you have taken, provided you didn't take any medicine or allergic foods, in these days.
I usually prescribe to my patients with such symptoms levocitrizine , mild steroid, and antibiotic.
