Sprain In Hand, Led To Swelling And Pain With Limited Movement, Ice Hasn't Helped. What Can Be Done Further?

I sprained (while climbing up home carpeted steps) my left hand pinky about 3 months ago. When it happened I applied ice, bengay, splinter to keep the swelling and pain down and to limit movement. Suddenly in the last few weeks I 'm starting to feel numbeness in the finger, it doesnt' bother me that much but I can feel it. Currently there is still pain inside if I stretch my finger but no swelling or deformitiies. What should be my further steps?

Hello, I have gone through your query.
1) You can take analgesics like ibuprofen or paracetamol for pain/
2) You should take and X-ray because sometimes if the bone is broken it doesn't always fuses correctly called as non union, mal union, delayed union.
You can follow up after taking the test,
Hope it helped you. You can write down if you have any other issues.
Thanks.
