Spotty Period, Negative Pregnancy Test. Swollen Breasts, Back Pain, Brown Discharge, Cramps. Miscarriage?

I had a spotty period on june 15. I had all pregnancy symptoms shortly after took two pregnancy test both negative . My breast grew a full cup size during this the swelling slightly subsided. Then today I woke up with back pain and I had some brownish watery liquid come out. I ended up bleeding more it was maroon in color and clotty. I am still cramping and my bleeding has now turned to a light pink . Also my period is due on the fifteenth which is in five days. I just would like to know if it was a miscarriage or implantation bleeding or what is going on in general. Also my breast are still swollen. I only bled for a few hours and only filled half the tip of two different tampons I only changed due to restroom breaks.

Hello,

First of all, you need to undergo one blood test for beta-hCG and TVS scan (around 4 weeks) to rule out possible conception or miscarriage. Brownish to pink discharge is mostly associated with implantation bleeding. Early pregnancy test may give negative result.

Following above test reports, you need to consult with gynecologist for next line management.

Till then, you maintain your genital hygiene. Good luck.
